Highchair

What has happened to my little girl? These pictures of Kenzlie in her highchair were taken almost exactly 2 years apart. I can't believe how much she has grown and changed. I have thought several times that I need to retire the highchair... not very often will she even sit in it. You can't really tell from the pictures but she is way to BIG for it anyways. As soon as I add it to my next days list of things to do, Kenzlie will ask to eat lunch in her highchair - so it gets crossed off the list.

Calling It Quits!

Oh the joys of being a working mom... I found out last night that Kenzlie's daycare is closing the end of the month. So I have a week to find someone to watch my sweet little girl. If anyone knows of anyone or has any suggestions PLEASE let me know. Here is our schedule: Monday thru Thursday from around 12:50-2:15 so just over an hour. (I have to be to work at 1:00 and my mom gets off work at 2:00 and she can pick her up) I am totally stressed out, ughhh......

6 Quirks!

My friend Angie tagged me FOREVER ago and I am supposed to write about 6 quirks I have. This should be easy...
1. I can't stand when people use their garage for a storage unit instead of parking vehicles in it. It seriously drives me crazy!!
2. I am so picky about the pens I use, especially when writing out checks. I have a certain pen that I keep in my purse that I can't live without.
3. Drawers, cupboards, and closet doors always have to be closed. This is something that I haven't totally got my husband trained on. He shuts his closet doors but only half way. Does it really take much more effort to totally shut them?
4. I can't sleep with socks on. There are times when my feet are so cold that I will climb into bed with socks on. It usually doesn't take long sometime during the night they will be off and on the floor. (or under the covers somewhere)
5. I hate to shave my legs. I'm not sure why cause it's not like it's hard. I guess that is one good thing about this time of year, I can get away with it.
6. When I go shopping for groceries etc. I will never buy the front item on the shelf I always grab the item behind it or even farther back if I can. Oh and everything has to be organized in the shopping cart and when I check out at the register. (unless my husband is with me) When shopping for clothes... same thing I can't take the front shirt or whatever it is. If I have to try something on I will make sure to get two in my size so I don't have to buy the one I have tried on. Weird I know!! :)

I tag anyone who would like to let us know about their 6 quirks! :)

The Perfect Pumkin

Tuesday morning I took Kenzlie over to Nibley to take some pictures of her at a pumpkin patch. She would not sit still long enough for me to get any decent pictures as you can tell. She was to busy picking out her perfect little pumpkin. Did I say little pumpkin? Oh no, she had to pick the BIGGEST pumpkin there. So I gave up on the picture taking put her HUGE pumpkin in the backseat of the car (not the trunk) and headed home. The whole way home I heard this from the back seat. "Hold on punkin, we goin home." "Punkin you need your seat belt on so cops not get you." "Just a minute little buddy." "Punkin you wanna see daddy when he get home fom work."

Biggest pumpkin from the patch = $5.00

Kenzlie talking to her pumpkin = PRICELESS

Heber Valley Storm vs South Cache Stangs

Monday night we had the wonderful opportunity to watch Taylor's soccer game. What are the chances that her last regular season game would be played in Hyrum against our home town team the SC Stangs. (I'll have to admit at times I did cheer for both teams.) Both teams played excellent but Taylor's team the Heber Valley Storm came out with the BIG victory and took 1st place in division 1 and move on to play in the premier league. Cute little Cambree trying to keep warm at the game. (It was so cold)
Tay's team at half time.
Kenzlie was so excited to see her big sister play soccer.
V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!!!!Great job Taylor we are so proud of you!!

Can We Get A Price Check?

Kenzlie's latest thing is to play in our storage room under the stairs... she has "tea parties." Well on Sunday while I was blogging on my computer she was playing under the stairs and found my basket full of christmas gift tags. She kept bringing a sheet of tags over to the computer desk and telling me, "I gotta buy it mom." I wasn't paying much attention but it didn't take me long to figure out what she was doing. She was using her Hannah Montana microphone that lights up on the end as her scanner just like at the store. Isn't it funny the things kids pay attention to? I know I have said this before but what a smart girl!! Is it possible to get a job as a checker when you are only two?

All about Jeremie...

My friend Krystal husband tagged me...

1. Where did you meet? We were set up on a blind date by his sister Robin. I went to school with her and she also worked at my dentists office. Every time I went in for a check-up she would ask me if I was dating anyone. Finally, I think it was probably the 3rd or 4th time she had asked me, I was single. So she set us up. (thanks Rob)

2. How long did you date before you were married? Our first date was June 5, 2003 (Kenzlie was born on June 5, 2006) we were married April 23, 2004 so just over 10 months.
3. How long have you been married? It will be FIVE years this coming April.

4. What does he do that surprises you? He kisses me every morning before he leaves for work even though I am sound asleep at 3:00 a.m.

5. What is your favorite feature of his? I would have to say his eyes. He has beautiful blue eyes.
6. What is your favorite quality of his? He is so understanding. I have this horrible habit of when something is wrong or bugging me instead of talking about it, I am quiet. He is always so good to know exactly what I need and how to approach me to get me to talk about it.

7. Does he have a Nickname for you? Teesha & Maw

8. What is his favorite color? Probably green, that is only if it doesn't come in camo.

9. What is his Favorite food? Pizza.

10. What is his favorite sport? He likes all sports, but I would have to say baseball.

11. When and where was your first kiss? The front porch at my parents house on our second date.

12. Favorite thing to do as a couple? camping, four-wheeling, fishing, anything outdoors.

13. Do you have any Children? 2 daughters- Taylor is thirteen and Kenzlie is two. 14. Does he have a hidden talent? I can't think of a hidden talent... but he does have many known talents.

15. How old is he? 31 he will be 32 on October 27th.

16. Who said I love you first? He did... :)

17. What is his favorite type of music? He likes all music but his favorite is probably country.

18. What do you admire most about him? He is an awesome dad. (and husband) I love you Jeremie!
19. Do you think he will read this? I hope so!

A Widow No More

After months and months of scouting and almost two weeks actually hunting... it's finally over! Jeremie finally drew out on the rifle south cache bull elk tag that he had put in for 13 years. He was so excited. He spent many EARLY mornings and LATE nights before the hunt opened out scouting for his big bull. Once the hunt finally opened he hunted for eight straight days. I never thought I would hear these words from MY husband but I did,"I am so sick of hunting and the mountains." With only 3 days left in the hunt he was getting pretty nervous that he wasn't going to kill an elk. He had passed on the big "video bull" on the opening day of the hunt and couldn't locate him again later in the week. So he settled for this one:
Later this month the deer hunt starts. I am sure he will be taking back what he said about being sick of hunting and the mountains and I will be a widow again!

Here is the hard part... I need to pick my favorite to have enlarged. So here is where I need your help, post a comment and let me know which one is your favorite. I will be posting pictures soon of our newly remodeled front room. I just have a few things to finish up, thanks!
