FrEeDoM rUn/ PaRaDe

Oh my poor neglected blog.... I'm sure that I am the very last person on earth to blog about the 5th of July. I am going to try to better - I promise!

We always love watching the Hyrum Parade and have for as long as I can remember. Kenzlie was so excited to go and made sure to tell me on the way there that she didn't want ANY candy. (strange kid huh)
Grandpa Cardell in his fire truck.
My mom made these cute flip-flops for the girls to wear to the parade. Aren't they so cute!

Jeremie ran in the Freedom Run on Saturday, July 3rd. Can I just say he did awesome!!
Kenzlie was once again so excited to watch daddy race and told him to make sure he didn't win this time - he needed to take turns. LOL

Jensyn cheering on daddy!
Had to add this picture of my busy little boy!! He loves to be under things including the kitchen table. He is walking all over the place, emptying out drawers, cupboards, anything he can get into!!

Boot Tree

When I was a little girl we camped at Beaver Mountain all the time. We always had so much fun... we rode our four-wheelers up and down through the trees so much that we made permanent paths, hiked up the mountain, played on the ski lifts, listened to the sheep come through our camp each morning, carved our names in the trees, picked up pop cans along the road with our wagon, and went for rides to Bear Lake to get a milk shake. Camping there now things are so different - but the one tradition we must continue.... is visiting the boot tree. There is an actual tree that looks just like a big boot.My parents and their two dogs walked down to the boot tree with us and poor little Paisley was too tired to make it back up the hill. We had to put her in the wagon with Kenzlie, it was pretty funny!

Then silly little Barney picked up this Reese's wrapper off the side of the road and carried it in his mouth forever. What silly dogs!!
