Anyone who knows Kenzlie knows how much she LOVES books. So a few weeks ago I took her to the library for the first time. She was pretty excited and it was no surprise what books she picked to check out. We read and read and read those library books over the next two weeks. She got to the point that she had them memorized and would read them to me. I was a little worried how she would do when we had to return the books on Saturday, but she was so excited to choose new books that she didn't care. So my little girl is a new library regular!
Kenzlie could hardly wait for her little cousin Cambree's 1st birthday party Saturday night. She kept asking all day if it was time to go to the party yet and what Cambree's cake was going to be? Cambree looked so cute all dressed up like a princess. It is so hard to believe that she is already ONE, where did the last year go? Happy Birthday Cambree, we love you!

Kenzlie was so excited for the Easter Bunny to come to our house. When she woke up Easter morning she ran and opened the door and was looking outside (I am not sure why) to see if he had been to our house. When she found her Easter basket she was so mad, she said "I just wanted eggs." After I told her that we were going to go on an egg hunt later at Grandma's she decided that what the Easter Bunny brought was okay.

The rest of Easter morning we spent at InstaCare. Jeremie had been sick with a horrible sore throat for 4 days and wasn't getting any better. I finally talked him into letting me take him to the doctor. (In the 6 years I have known him he has never been to a doctor for anything) They tested him for strep throat which was negative but he had a terrible ear infection. They put him on an antibotic and gave him some "magic mouth wash" for his throat, and now a week later he is finally doing a little better.
We made it back from the doctor just in time to get ready for dinner and the Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma & Grandpa Nielsen's.

The Easter Bunny even stopped by Grandma & Grandpa's and spoiled everyone...

My sister brought stuff for the little ones to make these cute bunny hats out of paper plates. Aren't they adorable? Thanks Elise!

And last but not least.... we found out that Kenzlie is going to have a little BROTHER! She really wanted a sister but has decided that she "likes baby boys."
