On March 2nd all the kindergartners at Lincoln Elementary put on an assembly for the rest of the school. The theme was caring and kindness so they told the story of "Rainbow Fish," and sang some songs. It was the cutest thing. Earlier in the week Kenzlie brought home a note from her principal letting us know that she would be receiving a special award at the assembly. So, at the end of the assembly the principal gave awards out to students who were selected as the most caring and kind students in the entire school. Kenzlie was the very first one they called to the front.... thats my girl!! I was so proud!!
